Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sacred Ring / Vòng Thiêng ("the Game"), published by KBWorks ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the Game, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not install it.

1. Your licence to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial enjoyment.

You may not: sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the Game; modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded; remove or alter any ownership notices; or use it in any way that breaks applicable law.

2. What we own

The Game — its code, artwork, characters, music, text and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you a right to play the Game, not any ownership of it.

Historical figures. The Game portrays real historical figures. Their names and recorded histories are matters of public historical record and are not claimed as our property. Our depictions, artwork and writing about them are.

3. Historical content

The Game is a work of fiction built on historical figures and events. We research our portrayals against historical sources and aim to treat every figure — from every nation — with respect. The Game is entertainment, not a work of scholarship, and should not be relied on as a historical reference.

4. No purchases

The Game currently contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no virtual currency. If that changes, the terms covering purchases and refunds will be published before any such version is released.

Purchases of the Game itself, if any, are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms, including their refund policies. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Your save data

Your progress is stored on your own device. We do not back it up, and we cannot recover it. Uninstalling the Game, clearing its data, resetting your device or switching devices may lose your progress permanently. Please keep that in mind before uninstalling.

6. Updates and availability

We may update, change or discontinue the Game, or any part of it, at any time. We may stop distributing it entirely. We will try to give reasonable notice of anything significant, but we do not promise the Game will remain available indefinitely.

7. The Game is provided "as is"

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost progress, arising from your use of the Game.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you break these terms. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the Game.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Vietnam, unless the mandatory consumer-protection law of your own country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The "last updated" date will change, and material changes will be noted on this page. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the revised terms.
