Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Runa application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What Runa Is
Runa is a tool that allows you to import and play RPG Maker and visual novel games stored on your device. The App does not provide, host, distribute, or endorse any game content. You must supply your own games.
3. Game Ownership — Your Responsibility
You may only import games you legally own or have permission to use.
By importing a game, you confirm that:
- You purchased, downloaded, or otherwise legally obtained the game
- You have the right to play it on a personal device
- You will not distribute, share, or re-upload the game files to others through the App or any other means
KBWorks is not responsible for how you use the App with respect to third-party content. Importing games you do not own may violate copyright law and the terms of the game's creator.
4. Content Notice
Runa allows you to import games that may contain mature themes, including violence, language, or adult content. By using the App, you acknowledge:
- The App is intended for users aged 17 and older
- Users under 17 should have parental supervision
- KBWorks does not review, moderate, or endorse the content of imported games
- You accept sole responsibility for the content you import and play
5. License to Use the App
KBWorks grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Runa on devices you own, strictly for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
- Reverse-engineer or decompile the App except as permitted by applicable law
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
6. In-App Purchases
The App may offer optional in-app purchases (e.g., to unlock native-engine support in future versions). All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or platform policies (Apple App Store / Google Play refund policies apply).
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
KBWorks does not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- All games will be compatible or function correctly
- Save data will never be lost
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KBWorks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of game progress, or device issues arising from use of the App.
KBWorks's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or any in-app purchase giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
KBWorks may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 3, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Vietnam.
11. Changes to These Terms
KBWorks may update these Terms at any time. We will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the App and delete it from your device.
